Chapter Mission Statement:
The mission of the New Jersey Alumni Chapter of the MSUAA (MSUAA-NJC)is to actively engage in activities that support the University, it’s programs, departments and the MSU Alumni Association. To that end, through it’s four-point program, the chapter seeks to engage alumni in outreach and awareness activities; to provide financial assistance to Morgan students from New Jersey through it’s scholarship program and chapter endowment; to assist present and prospective Morgan students through the chapter’s Ambassador Advocate program which provides information on housing, financial aid, recruitment and admissions; and to partner with other MSUAA chapters, notably the South Jersey and New York Alumni chapters as well as other local entities such as the NJ-HBCU Consortium to support the vision and goals of the University and encourage volunteerism in our communities.
